Gathered in Their Names

Honoring lives lost. Building legacy through care, creativity, and connection.

Honoring Lives, Healing Together

Traumatized Trophies is a poetry collection born from profound loss and deep survival. Through language, Alesia gives voice to grief, resilience, and the ongoing work of healing—inviting readers into a space where pain is named, and legacy is still being built.

Traumatized Trophies is not just a book of poetry. It's a raw, unflinching journey through grief and loss...where every line carries the weight of survival, memory and meaning.

Our Mission

Gathered in Their Names exists to honor lives lost to violence by creating space for remembrance, healing, and legacy-building through spoken word, storytelling, and collective presence.

We believe naming is an act of care, that healing is a process, and that legacies are built through how communities show up for one another after loss. This gathering centers dignity over spectacle, creativity over silence, and connection over isolation.

Through shared language, art, and reflection, we hold space for grief while making room for hope—affirming that what was taken does not define what remains, and that healing can grow even from the most fractured places.

Spoken Word

Through poetry and storytelling, spoken word becomes a pathway for healing. It gives language to grief, breath to survival, and voice to the truths we carry—transforming pain into connection and shared understanding.

Remembrance

We gather to honor lives lost by naming them, holding space for memory, and acknowledging the love that remains. Remembrance is an act of care—one that affirms presence, legacy, and the power of being witnessed together.
